On Saturday, 22 August, Taqat Training Institute organized the Skills Exchange initiative at the Iridium Hotel, bringing together experts and specialists in an interactive setting with broad participation from organizations and companies. The initiative aimed to empower professional skills, invest in human potential and create new employment and training opportunities that strengthen community members' capabilities and support excellence and innovation. Participants and contributing organizations engaged actively, with Skills Exchange providing a practical connection between experienced professionals and young talent, supporting knowledge sharing, strategic partnerships and the discovery of potential for more effective career pathways. During the event, Ahmed Al-Shalawi, Chairman of Aman Association for Family Development, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering people and developing their capabilities. He noted that investing in human potential and creating suitable training and professional opportunities are central to development. The event was also attended by Dr. Ziyoun Al-Juaid, Executive Director of Taqat Training Institute, whose organizational and on-site efforts helped create an engaging environment that brought talent and participating organizations together. Skills Exchange forms part of the institute's strategy to promote continuous development, invest in talent and create inspiring spaces for professional relationships and meaningful opportunities benefiting individuals and businesses. Participants stressed the importance of sustaining initiatives that enable experience sharing and give talented people opportunities to demonstrate their abilities to organizations and companies, helping turn aspirations and skills into promising, sustainable pathways. At the close, participating and supporting organizations were recognized for their contributions to the initiative's success, along with media organizations that covered the event and communicated its message. The association and institute thanked Khaled Al-Tuwaili, originator of the initiative and CEO of Jodfay Solutions, for proposing the concept. They also thanked institute director Maha Al-Khammash and her distinguished team for their outstanding implementation and presentation of the initiative.
